Thanks to Dave / Orange Event Monday 5th Dec!

Dear all,

First of all, many thanks to Dave for covering yesterday’s lectures. He tells me that he got a round of applause from both cohorts, so thanks to you too for making him welcome!

I have added the lecture videos from the sessions I delivered last year, so if there are any concepts or points that are unclear after the session yesterday you are strongly encouraged to watch the videos and reinforce what Dave covered. This is particularly important because next week will be the Orange Event for both Javascript and Web/PHP!

Once again, with feeling: the lectures on Monday 5th December will include an Orange Event. You need to be there, or you will miss out on up to 10% of the marks for the module!

Also make sure you are there for Wednesday’s workshops. The practicals will reinforce many of the concepts and principles that were covered in the lecture, and as you work I will go up front and discuss things that arise from people’s work. Attendance will leave you in much better shape for the Orange Event next Monday! Do good work, put in the effort, do some revision, and then go and ace the Orange Event!

All the best and see you on Wednesday.

Paul
