Group allocations / codebash tomorrow reminder
Dear all,
You should have all received your group allocation (or will do before the end of the day). Please pay particular attention to what the email says, particularly with respect to lecture times after enrichment week.
I also wanted to remind you all of the Codebash tomorrow in SB2022/3. This will start at 9am and run until the end of the day (5pm or thereabouts). You can come for the whole day or just dip in for a few hours, and it will be an opportunity to pick up additional medals that you might need help with. Many of you are already storming the top of the medal table, and you guys might like to come along to pick up assist points and secure your place at the top of the table. If that isn’t you, however, and you need extra support to get the medals you need, then you should make sure to come along to get the help you need to succeed.
I have always said that I will make sure that anyone who tries their best will get through the module. So, come along tomorrow, give me your best, and get those medals!
See you there!
All the best,
Paul
TLAP Deadline and Codebash Clarification
Dear all,
It seems that lots of people weren’t listening in the workshop on Wednesday, nor reading the feedback email they got!
A clarification:
The feedback email you will have received represents your CURRENT marks for Thinking Like A Programmer. As I’ve announced in lectures and workshops, and as you can find in all the module documentation, the deadline for completing Thinking Like A Programmer is effectively Sunday 6th November.
I will send a final update with your total TLAP marks at the time.
Finally, and as a few of you have pointed out, the Codebash is Thursday 3rd NOVEMBER not October all day in SB2022/3. (Unless you have a time machine and can make it on the 3rd October instead )
All the best,
Paul
